Hi from Hyde End!

Welcome to the Hyde End Studios blog. My name is Simon Kemp and I am a Reading based wedding & portrait photographer serving Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, London and the South East of England. I often travel further afield so please get in touch if you live outside the above areas.

This blog allows me to post some pictures of the amazing weddings, portraits and other events I am lucky enough to attend. I have a relaxed informal style of photography and like to capture those real moments and informal pictures that you will come to treasure.

If you haven't done so please take a look at my website and if you were at a recent event you will find the pictures here. As always, drop me a line if you need further information and you can of course call me directly on 0118 9885088. Bookmark my RSS feed to get the latest news and special offers and if you're into that sort of thing you can click here to follow us on Twitter. Thanks for visiting.

Cheryl and James - the big day!

Today I was at the Guildhall in the middle of Windsor for Cheryl and James' wedding. I love photographing in the middle of town as it's often a little unpredictable (tourists everywhere!) but it's good fun getting some images you wouldn't normally have a chance to shoot. We took a walk along the High Street, shot some pictures in a bar, outside an office block and around the castle before heading off to the farm in Winkfield for the reception. The marquee was fabulous, they had done a great job decorating it and it looked great. The couple had organised a video camera and microphone so guests could leave video messages for them - what a brilliant idea!

We took some cool shots in the stables at the farm and all too soon the meal started. Cheryl and James are taking a break in Italy and all their pictures will be uploaded when they get back. **CLICK HERE** to email me if you'd like to know when all the pictures are available for viewing!
