Hi from Hyde End!

Welcome to the Hyde End Studios blog. My name is Simon Kemp and I am a Reading based wedding & portrait photographer serving Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, London and the South East of England. I often travel further afield so please get in touch if you live outside the above areas.

This blog allows me to post some pictures of the amazing weddings, portraits and other events I am lucky enough to attend. I have a relaxed informal style of photography and like to capture those real moments and informal pictures that you will come to treasure.

If you haven't done so please take a look at my website and if you were at a recent event you will find the pictures here. As always, drop me a line if you need further information and you can of course call me directly on 0118 9885088. Bookmark my RSS feed to get the latest news and special offers and if you're into that sort of thing you can click here to follow us on Twitter. Thanks for visiting.

Oliver & Lisa's Wedding

Today I headed up the M4 to photograph Lisa and Oliver's wedding. The ceremony was at the spectacular Ealing Abbey. It's an amazing building both inside and out and I must mention the music during the service which was great. After some great pictures on the steps we headed south to Richmond Park and Pembroke Lodge for the reception. The guests had a great view across the park from the terrace and all to soon, it was time to go into the meal.

Lisa and Oliver are off to Fiji on honeymoon and their complete gallery will be uploaded when they return. If you were at the wedding and would like to know when that is, click here :)

Oliver gets sorted - 20 minutes to go.

The best man and ushers busy er...ushing.

The Olympics on the telly has a lot to answer for. Lisa, her brother and the girls sprint up the steps.

Lisa makes it official.

Job done!

The lovely Lisa.
Robert Fox, magician extraordinaire, wows the guests (fire extinguisher just out of shot).
The meal kicks off in the Belvedere Suite.

A little smooch to finish things off.
